To ask for a complete list may be presumptuous, but it would be fun to hear of things you spontaneously come to think of.
The VIE project lately restored as much as possible of the originals. Unfortunately I don't have the VIE, to compare with my old books.
Here is the extent of my insights:
1. In Suldrun's Garden, chapters 25 and 26 were reversed, with some rearrangement of sentences.
3. In The Green Pearl, Vance's characteristic spellings were changed into American spelling.
2. In Madouc, the Ace editors did some censorship, changing "pretty pageboys" to "pages" (I guess those editors must have had som guilty fantasies of their own.). They also did several other interpretive screwups of the text, too complicated for me to go into detail here.
4. The original manuscript for Big Planet is lost, but the early magazine version still have many words and sentences that were cut from the book publication. Some sanitary toilet matters were also censored.
