The VIE editor had (and has) the complete support of John Vance Jr., who in turn had the approval of Norma and Jack. Regrets are nuncupatory. The readers' editions may not be particularly attractive, but I am glad that the spines are leather. However, one could create attractive dust jackets for the set if one was so inclined. I think the deluxe editions are very nice looking. No binding would be grand enough to match the contents.

Keen as mustard
Also, he sometimes adopts words he fancies because of their shape or sound but uses them in ways that do not fit their definitions - instead of making up a new word, he uses an existing word and makes up a new definition.
